What do I do if my slab is damaged?

Veriswap takes shipping and handling seriously. All trades are packed securely and processed with care. However, on rare occasions, slabs may arrive with damage. If your card arrives with a cracked or chipped case, here’s what to do.

Step 1: Review the Original Listing

Before anything else, check the original trade listing and photos. If the damage was already visible in the trade photos, this is not considered shipping damage. In such cases, we ask both users to resolve the matter directly through the in-app chat. If the two parties agree to a cash adjustment or another form of resolution, Veriswap is happy to help facilitate the transfer.

Step 2: Inspect and Document

As soon as you receive the package, inspect the slab for any visible damage. If you notice an issue, take clear photos from multiple angles. Please include:

  • Front and back of the slab
  • Close-ups of the damage
  • Photos of the packaging materials and box

These photos help us determine where the damage may have occurred and what the next steps should be.

Step 3: Contact Veriswap Support

Email support@veriswap.com or use the app to submit a ticket. Be sure to include details of your trade and the photos described above. A member of our team will follow up.
