# Veriswap

> Safely swap sports cards from the comfort of your living room. We verify and insure both sides of the trade so that you can trade stress-free.

Veriswap is a peer-to-peer marketplace for trading collectibles, mainly sports cards and Pokémon cards. It is the trusted middleman for card trades: both collectors ship their cards to a Veriswap hub, where the team checks that each package matches the accepted offer before forwarding it to its new owner. Collectors can trade cards for cards, add cash to either side, make cash offers, or buy listed cards outright. Veriswap is available on iOS, Android and the web.

## How a trade works

1. List your cards. For a graded card, enter its certification number and Veriswap fills in the card details from the grading company. For a raw (ungraded) card, upload photos and set its condition.
2. Make an offer. Express interest in another collector's cards, or send a full trade offer with cards on both sides and optional cash to balance the value. You can also make a cash offer, or use Buy It Now where a seller has enabled it. Offers last 36 hours, and the clock resets with every response.
3. Ship to Veriswap. Once an offer is accepted, both collectors create an insured, signature-required shipping label to a Veriswap hub in the app.
4. Verification. At the hub, the team checks that each package contains exactly the cards in the accepted offer.
5. Delivery. Veriswap ships each side to its new owner, insured. Any cash in the trade is released to the seller once the outbound shipment is on its way. Both collectors can then leave feedback on each other's profiles.

## Why trade through a middleman

Trading directly with a stranger means one side ships first and hopes. On Veriswap, neither collector ships to the other: both ship to Veriswap, and nothing moves on until both sides have arrived and match the deal. Cash is held until the trade is verified. Shipments on labels created in the app are insured and require a signature. First-time traders on high-value trades verify their identity before their cards ship out.

## What you can trade

- Graded cards from supported grading companies, including PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC and others.
- Raw (ungraded) cards, traded on the condition the owner declares. Pokémon cards, raw and graded, are authenticated at the hub.
- Some other collectibles authenticated by PSA or Beckett, such as autographed memorabilia and comics.

Sealed Pokémon product, cards from unsupported grading companies, and custom or proxy cards cannot be listed.

## The Vault

The Veriswap Vault stores graded cards at a Veriswap hub, fully insured. Vaulted cards skip the inbound shipping step, so trades between vaulted cards complete by transferring ownership inside the vault. Collectors can withdraw their cards at any time.

## Getting started

Sign up in the app or on the web with Google, Apple or Facebook, and verify a phone number. Add a payment method to send offers. To receive cash from trades or sales, set up payouts through Stripe.
